The Hobie Guardian retractable transducer mount leaves the sonar beam completely unobstructed for ultimate performance when using a side imaging transducer. When you're launching or landing, simply retract the transducer into the hull for complete protection! In the event you collide with a submerged object while on the water, the Guardian's suspension system allows the transducer to automatically retract into the hull, then deploy right back into position on it's own.
