Okutama is the westernmost region in Tokyo prefecture and is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes you can find. Only 1 hour and 50 minutes from Shinjuku, you can find countless hikes, river rafting, and even limestone cave exploring. Today, we're exploring the historical Musashi-Michi trail, which is 10km long and runs all the way to Lake Okutama from Okutama station! Some come see the nature that Tokyo has and hopefully this makes it on to your list as a break from the crazy city that Tokyo is.
