Today, I am visiting Chichen Itza, Yucatan, Mexico. This very important city reached its peak during the Late Classic through to the early Terminal Classic periods in Maya history. This city rose to prominence around the same time that the city of Coba began to decline. You can watch our earlier video about that city.
