Sky News host Steve Price has slammed Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for trying to “weasel himself” out of his “big blunder”.

“In a week when our Prime Minister thought it okay to splash $4.3 million on a beach house in the middle of a housing and cost of living crisis – we learn that business insolvencies around Australia are skyrocketing,”

“What planet is Prime Minister Albanese living in where he thinks people will just sit back and say well, well, they are private people Albo and Jodie and they can buy whatever house they like.

“Well he might kid himself that’s the case and he tried to weasel himself out of the biggest blunder since Scott Morrison’s famous I don’t hold a hose mate … but it won’t wash.

“I seriously didn’t think a politician of Albanese’s experience could be this dumb.”
