We left camp and head for to the top of Mt Stronach. As we entered the track it started to rain while we were winching one of the cars that had bellied out in the ruts at the bottom. This made it just that little bit slippery the whole way up. The Mt Stronach climb is full of obstacles and a heap of ruts. We had the winch out multiple times to drag the cars through. The 79 ended up slipping in to a deep rut at one point which left it on a huge angle, definitely got our adrenalin pumping. The view from the lookout was incredible and a good place to stop for lunch.

The alternative route back down was cruisey and we headed straight for Bridport dunes. At the time it was only a few days after New Years Eve and the dunes were completely chopped up. Winga in his 100 series gave it one good send but the run in to the bottom of the dune made it very hard to hit it with speed. We had a bit of a drive around on the sand before looking for camp. We found a great spot on the creek/river entrance and settled down for a feed, beers and damper.

This video marks the end of our Tassie content. It was a lot of fun with a great crew.
