The 19th Annual Brotherhood Of Live Steamers Meet held in 1951. The meet was hosted by the Golden Gate Live Steamers (GGLS) in Redwood Park near Oakland, CA — this was before GGLS's move to Tilden Park in the early 70s. At this time there was elevated track only (2-1/2", 3-1/2", and 4-3/4" gauges); the ground track wouldn't go in until 1963-ish.

This was digitized from 16mm film. The film was silent and the nice folks at Redwood Valley Railway allowed me to attach my digital audio recorder to one of their locomotives to provide some sound.
