To survive the night at around -5 degrees Celsius, I constructed a small shelter from deadwood and some pine branches. To keep my sleeping bag dry, I used the remaining pine branches as a bedding, ensuring I stayed dry and much more comfortable than on the hard snow. To stay warm throughout the night, I lit a long log fire that burned until morning, providing cozy warmth. The next morning, I enjoyed a hot coffee before embarking on my journey home.
