In this video, I share with you the best chicken egg in an Asian style fried egg. This egg is no ordinary free range egg. It is called heritage egg. Given to me by my friend, from his own free roaming heritage hens, to try them out. I made fried eggs Asian style ("chien nui pow" in Penang hokkien, or "kai dao" in Thai) to compare between heritage chicken eggs and free range supermarket chicken eggs. Hope you can see the difference. The heritage egg has a brighter orange yolk, more rounded and firmer in shape than the supermarket free range chicken eggs. The second part of the video, I showed you how to serve the crispy fried egg Asian style with a nyonya belanda sauce. This dish is called egg belanda in Malaysia. I came to know of this dish from the comments posted by my viewers.
