After getting skunked on Silver Creek and hiking out just around the confluence of the South Fork American River the team was on a mission: boat recovery. Team Paddlers Trevor, Daniel and Nathan Hobbs got out on the Golden Gate section of the South Fork American River. The whole adventure started 6 weeks earlier on when someone commented "Why don't you just run down Golden Gate rather than hike in?" Daniel responded "The boat I would take on Golden Gate is at the bottom of Golden Gate". In true rafter form the guys decided that going downstream would be much easier than hiking in and this is how it went down. If you haven't seen the Silver Creek video that started it all you can check it out here:    • Lower Silver Creek

We have had a few people asking us for some longer from vlog style content of the team in action during their expeditions so we kept this one a bit more in depth so you can see what the team went through to get out on this awesome river.
