苔寺として有名な西芳寺を訪問しました。本堂で延命十句観音経を写経し奉納後、西芳寺庭園を拝観させていただきました。庭一面を覆う淡い緑色の苔を観賞していると心が癒されていきます。特に観音堂から右手順路に従って石段を下っていくあたりの苔と湘南亭茶室を少し通り過ぎたあたりの苔が美しかったです。深呼吸しながらゆっくりと散策されることをお勧めします。
(I visited Saihoji Temple, which is famous as a moss temple. After copying and dedicating the ten-verse Kannon Sutra in the main hall, we visited the garden of Saiho-ji Temple. Gazing at the pale green moss that covers the entire garden will soothe your soul. Especially, the moss around the area where I went down the stone steps from Kannon-do Hall and the area where I passed Shonan-tei tea room for a while was beautiful. We recommend that you take a deep breath and take a leisurely stroll.)
