This was my fourth demo ride of the 2023 Corduroy Enduro weekend and the test course was very chewed up by this point in the day. Unfortunately, I was also getting tired out by this time and wasn't riding as well and then my GoPro battery ran out before the end of this test ride.

This was the most surprizing of all the test rides for me and I love this bike! I have a 2017 YZ250FX that is set up exactly how I like it and that I'm very comfortable on (but don't love as much in tight woods as my TE150 2-stroke). I was blown away by how much better this 2024 model is than my 2017 model! It is two generations newer with the engine, frame, bodywork, and just about everything else completely changed. It has all of the same good features of my older model but it also feels WAY more nimble and easy to ride in tight stuff and over rough uphill obstacles. It is also a lot more free-revving and easier to control for tight manoeuvering and quick acceleration. The stock clutch also feels better than the 2017 one.

This was my second favourite bike of all the ones I tested that day and I would easily be very happy riding one. I would probably put it on a par with my modded 2023 Husqvarna TE150. My favourite bike of the day though was my last demo: a 2024 KTM 150 XC-W. Unfortunately, I forgot to swap GoPro batteries before that test ride and I didn't have a spare one on me so I couldn't record that test ride. The move from TPI to TBI is very noticeable and very good; I didn't feel a low end trade off and the throttle response and top end were faster and better. I also liked the Brembo hydraulics over the Braktec parts on the Husky. I didn't mind the action of the rear end without a linkage and that would be a benefit going over obstacles. I really wish I had video of that ride.
