Farmers, the Mennonites flee the modern world and its temptations. In Barton Creek, Belize, in Central America, they have created entire villages. This community lives self-sufficiently and without electricity or telephone.

These ultraconservatives travel by horse-drawn cart like in the 16th century.
They categorically refuse to mingle with the local populations. Some families have decided to found a Mennonite colony in Peru, in the middle of the forest. They were followed in the preparation of their trip.
