LAXE - AROU (20 KMS)
We leave Laxe flanking its beach and port that are sheltered by the Church of Santa Maria da Atalaia. Then we face the demands of Monte da Insua where we find the Lighthouse of Laxe, a place that also pays tribute to the sailors who frequent these shores.
The detour to Monte da Insua ends at a curious "glazed" beach that leads to the stretch of the Baleeira Cove. A suggestive drawing of coastal cliffs leads us to the rigorous but short ascent of Petón do Castro, a geographical feature that opens the doors to the balsamic Soesto Beach.
Traba and its endless sandy area flanked by a valuable natural space will take us to Mórdomo, where we will have lunch.
Then, we cross a fascinating rocky gallery that will accompany us to the vicinity of Camelle, a town chosen by a singular artist to leave his legacy in the open air.
From this town we will only have two quiet kilometers to the final stop, Arou.
