A compilation of scenes from the 2019/2020 ice fishing season. Locations varied, but centered around Southern Vermont. One location was Emerald Lake, a Vermont State Park in Southwestern Vermont, where species range from Northern Pike and Yellow Perch, to Largemouth Bass and Smallmouth Bass. The goal is to catch five trophy sized species in a calendar year. I have chosen to focus on Largemouth, Smallmouth, Yellow Perch, Bluegill, and the fifth is still a wildcard. With the growing COVID-19 pandemic, it is uncertain how the season will progress, but for know the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife is encouraging people to go fishing!
