The Shifa family warmly welcomes Dr. Sajjad Ali, who has joined Shifa International Hospital Ltd. as a Consultant in Internal Medicine. He is a graduate of Chandka Medical College, Larkana, and completed his house job at Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi. After receiving his FCPS in Medicine from Dow University, he underwent two years of specialized training in Adult Infectious Diseases at the Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation, Karachi. He later moved to Saudi Arabia, where he served as Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Consultant in Infectious Diseases & Internal Medicine at Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City Hospital.

Upon his return to Pakistan, Dr. Sajjad joined Rehman Medical Institute as a Consultant in Internal Medicine & Infectious Diseases. There, he played a pivotal role in establishing a state-of-the-art clinical trial unit, leading the department with a patient-centric approach to care.

Dr. Sajjad Ali brings a wealth of experience in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine to Shifa International Hospital. His commitment to advancing the field through evidence-based medicine, quality assurance, and patient safety will be a great asset to our community.

His areas of expertise in Internal Medicine include Diabetes, Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease, Acute Kidney Disease, Typhoid, Gastroenteritis, Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs), Pneumonia, and COVID-19.
