Today I want to share a recipe for a simple and satisfying dinner: flavourful Polish potato casserole (potato babka) with pork belly, sausage and a load of fresh thyme.
The casserole is crunchy on the outside and delicate inside. Pork belly and sausage provide a lot of flavour, rounded out by fresh thyme and dry marjoram. It's a simple dinner that tastes great both straight out of the oven and refried on the next day.

List of ingredients
150 g sausage
250 g smoked pork belly
1 tbsp oil
2 kg starchy potatoes (1.5 kg after peeling)
2 onions (~250 g)
2 large eggs
80 g (~4 tbsp) flour
4 garlic cloves
6 sprigs fresh thyme (~1 tbsp leaves)
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp dry marjoram
Breadcrumbs
