In this Basecamp adventure we set sail for the beautiful Isle of Man catching the Manxman Ferry from Heysham. Staying on west of the Island at Peel Camping Ground for four nights, we explore the south of the island. Discovering Peel, Castletown, the Calf of Man, the Great Laxy Wheel, Gregneash and the beautiful glens of Glen May and Silverdale. To take a caravan on the island a Tow Caravan Permit is required. To apply is quick and simple. Email the Manx Government with your provisional campsite booking and ferry times. They will then send to you the permit (normally within 24 hours).
