Another job on my looooonnnng list of things to make.
A viking hewing/shipwrights axe based on the one pictured in the Bayeux Tapestry.

This is my mk1 with a right side single bevel edge and it's going to have an offset handle to save your knuckles when using it.

I also prepped another two lengths of spring steel to make a left handed version, and another with a double bevel edge and no offset to see how they all compare.

The lefty is for me!

The kittens were at the vet today getting the snip and their microchip (so I can connect to them via Bluetooth).
I got them both home late this afternoon so gave them some extra ham and chicken to help get over the day🖖

Part two coming soon!
