Why I love ‘Variable Valve Timings’ by Chris Harris | BOOK REVIEW
This book is great on audible as Chris Harris does a superb job narrating. I also bought the hardback as it contains some good photos and I always like to have a proper copy of books I love on the shelf.

I was lucky as a kid (not yet 17 by a long shot) to drive a mk1 CRX and a 205 gti amongst other much more mundane but enjoyable old cars. To this day the 205 had the handling and the CRX the engine.

If you are properly into cars like me you will love this book! Even if you aren’t a complete car bore there are some lovely stories here that tug on the heart strings and are very funny in places.

I had so much to relate to in this book I could have talked about it for an hour but I’ve saved you the pain of that and just said go get it and read it or listen to it!

It’s also quite inspiring in case you were wondering…

Chris talks about how education should be changed to play on peoples interests which I couldn’t agree more with.
