MOONDROP ULTRASONIC Review Summary:
On paper, the Ultrasonic look like the perfect upgrade to the popular 2023 release - the Space Travel. They've kept the design basically the same, but have added a dual driver array, hi-res audio through LDAC, LE Audio and LC3 support, improved ANC, and finally the app works with IOS again.

However, like with many of Moondrop's releases, the sound is undoubtedly the highlight, with only fair ANC strength, not a great deal of ANC or transparency customisation and some basic features omitted - like quick charge and in-ear detection. The LC3 and LDAC implementations are a little buggy too.

The tuning, on the other hand, is classic Moondrop, blending two custom drivers with excellent cohesion. This is a smoother-sounding set from Moondrop with plenty of air and resonance to the bass. For house and techno, the Ultrasonic has a lot to offer, and the array of very usable presets make this one that die-hard Moondrop fans looking for a Space Travel upgrade should certainly at least consider.
