The Salmon River in Pulaski New York draws huge crowds every year for the salmon run and every year I think maybe it will be better than the year before. It was not. I thought maybe if I could try the catch and release section there would be less people there intentionally trying to snag fish. I was wrong again. My day started out with me swing streamer trying to find a unicorn Atlantic salmon or a big brown trout that might have fallowed the salmon up to eat their eggs. the people quickly started pouring in and I soon realize my chance at catching one of those fish was a pipe dream. I did manage to catch a couple small mouth bass and I filmed a guy fighting a king salmon. after that I netted a king salmon for another kid and decided it was time for me to head for another location, so I went an hour east to catch wild brown trout and I caught a nice one.
