While not the exact Micro Bugger from Bart Lombardo's "Panfish on the Fly," this pattern was definitely inspired by it. This has been a successful panfish pattern, but there's no reason it can't be an equally successful trout fly.

Hook: #12-16 3x long
Bead: Glass
Weight: Optional
Thread: Any color, or to match the body
Tail: Marabou
Hackle: Hen, palmered
Body: Marabou, spun as a rope
