Our house was destroyed by a fire April 30, 2023. We stayed with family for 3 months before we were able to find a rental apartment. As our house was being rebuilt, I would take Cash regularly to our neighborhood to keep him connected to his home. But we didn't bring him into the rebuilt house until it was safe to do so. You can tell that he was a little confused when we went in. He knew where he was, but everything was different. He was crouching down a little, which is something he does when he nervous. But we have been moved back home for almost 3 months and he is very happy to be home again.
