I've been using Trusted Housesitters as a way to avoid paying rent for the past year. Today I am going to share with you some tips if you're just getting started for how YOU can get booked on TrustedHousesitters. TrustedHousesitters is a website (and app) that started in the UK, but is now international. It allows Pet-sitters and Pet-owners to find each other and arrange a pet-sit. It is sort of like AirBnB except you're exchanging your time to pet-sit for free accommodations.

All of it starts with your profile though! This IS the first impression people are going to be getting of you from the site, so it's important that you take the time to set it up properly. I am going to break this down into 3 simple steps for you:
(1) Photos - what photos to show? how many?
(2) Text - how much to write? what to say?
(3) Reviews vs. References - what's the difference? how do you get them?
