This is a good strategy to quickly present your live bait to the tuna that are sub surface to deep in the water column. This is particularly technique is effective when fishing for yellowtail and tuna that are under neath the pod of dolphins. Applying the weight to the fishing line with a San Diego jam knot is one of the best knots to use when attaching it to the main line.
