Hi friends! Today I’ll be sharing a haul made up of short classics, mostly modern classics, that I’ve bought recently. I’ve been loving reading shorter classics this year and I’ve also been enjoying collecting from the Penguin little clothbound editions and the Macmillan Collector’s Library editions because they’re both so beautiful. So 4 of these books are novellas and the other 3 are short story collections. I’ve divided them into 3 that I’ve already read (but didn’t yet own in physical format) and 4 I haven’t read yet. Let me know if you’ve read any of these and what you thought of them!

Books mentioned:
Passing by Nella Larsen
The Awakening by Kate Chopin
A Spy in the House of Love by Anais Nin
To the Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf
Bliss by Katherine Mansfield
How to Read Literature Like a Professor by Thomas C. Foster
The Imitation of the Rose by Clarice Lispector, translated by Katrina Dodson
White Nights by Dostoyevsky, translated by Ronald Meyer
