We witnessed the total solar eclipse of 2024 as it passed through our home state of Indiana! We traveled to Union City, IN, which was in the path of totality, to witness this spectacular event.
We hope that you enjoy the photos that we took of the eclipse, capturing every phase of the eclipse, passing through all phases from C1 (first contact) to C4 (final contact and the conclusion of the eclipse). We captured the sun's chromosphere, corona, solar prominences, coronal mass ejections (CME) of plasma, Baily's Beads, and Diamond Ring!
Photos were taken with a Canon DSLR T2i, using a 250mm lens with a Neutral Density 16.5 filter. Some of the photos were taken using the following camera settings: shutter speed 1/1000, f/11, ISO 800. Some were with a shutter speed of 1/4000, f/5.6, ISO 800.
