Cameron Highlands is located on the eastern foot of the Titiwangsa Mountains, the main mountain range of the Malaysian Peninsula, with an altitude of about 1,500 meters. It is adjacent to the Kinta Plateau in Gopeng, Perak and the Loking Plateau in Kelantan. It is 60 kilometers away from Tapah and about 200 kilometers away from the capital Kuala Lumpur.
