In 2018 I built my first flintlock rifle. It has a .58 caliber, straight, 42 inch by 1 inch, octagon, Colerain barrel. The lock is a right hand, Bedford County by L&R. The rifle also features a double lever, double set trigger along with both brass and german silver adornments. I mostly took pictures at the time, but I’m going to share how I built the rifle along with those images and a few video clips. Although there is likely to be helpful information in this video, I am a novice builder, and this is not a tutorial.
