Bumi Serpong Damai (or BSD City) is one of the planned cities in Indonesia, located in Banten. BSD City is one of the satellite cities of Jakarta which was originally intended to be an independent city, where all facilities are provided, ranging from industrial areas, offices, trade, education, tourism, to housing. Currently, the name "BSD" does not refer to an abbreviation, but rather a stand-alone word. BSD City is a planned city project with the largest total land area in Indonesia, which is 6,000 hectares. The BSD City development stage is divided into three stages. BSD City is equipped with a number of world centers, such as BSD Plaza, ITC BSD, BSD Junction, Giant Hypermarket BSD, AEON Mall and Teraskota. There are also a number of recreational areas here, such as the 7.5 hectare Ocean Park Water Adventure which is one of the largest thematic water parks in Southeast Asia.
