Beerangi Saamy is based on an anonymous letter that S. Vee. Shekher's family receive asking them to send 100 postcards mentioning about Beerangi Saami and if they ignore this they will have to face the consequences like developing conjunctivitis on their back or having a teeth inside their ear.
