You are seeing Amy see this for the first time and our reactions as they played out. We are obviously accustomed to the minor and major issues that arise when traveling by RV. This certainly wasn’t as debilitating as a flooded basement or a broken leaf spring, but it was shocking. And confusing! Our Airstream had given us very little trouble up to this point. Amy noticed the rock guard was vibrating when she was towing the day before so we made a mental note to check it when we stopped. We arrived at this campground in the middle of a thunderstorm so we did not check it until the following morning. One of the many factors that can add to the stress of a needed repair on the road is where you are when it happened. We were nowhere near an Airstream dealership which may have actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise! Stay tuned.
