yeah, yeah...it's PTSD Saber learning to type, but it's still a heartfelt story:
This is one of the reason Violet has very low view of herself. She is guilt-ridden not only over her Major's death, but all the killings she had done in ignorance.
Despite all that, Hodgins and company (and Gilbert in the novel) accept her just the way she is, and walk along her side as she leaves her past behind...one day at a time, one letter at a time.

I am tempering my expectations for the 2020 movie....how would Violet introduce the new Violet to her beloved Major??
How would Gilbert react? He would hardly recognize her?!?!?!?
