Focal has a new form factor for their headphones, but its not all peaches and cream. There are some growing pains when transforming your fan favorite noise cancelling headphone into a typical closed and open back. When you remove Digital Signal Processing from the equation, it leaves some things to be desired!

This is one of my first videos and re-watching it over and over again with a new perspective, it does seem like I have glossed over a lot of sound signature on the Bathys. To specify what I am talking about with DSP... It sounds like a Hadenys, but with the sub bass added back in. The Hadenys is amazing, but really lacked that LF presence I needed to enjoy it as a daily driver.

Also I should like an earpad shill. And I am, because I develop them for a job. You can do a lot of tuning of sound and comfort with earpads which can complete a headphones overall appeal.

I prefer Sheepskin over Suede, but they are both similar in sound signatures. Your choice is fuzzy or smooth to be honest.
