Doubledeckeranton shows one of the oldest low floor doubledeckers in service (filmed March 2018) before departing London in late April 2018.
This 16 year old bus is a Wright bodied Volvo Gemini B7TL that was built in Ireland around the year 2002 and they have a 7.3 litre engine displacement.
These were the 1st versions of the Gemini double decker and had rear facing seats on the upper deck that can seat 9 people facing each other at the back!
On the lower deck the wheelchair/buggy āæ area was very tight with an additional single seat squeezed in between the staircase and the wheelchair āæ area!
Anton did not realise at the time that these buses would be leaving the garage only 6 months after the similar Plaxton bodied Volvos that departed London in November 2017!
