MUSAFIR-E-RAY is a historical film directed and written by Dawood Mirbagheri, produced in 2000. The movie tells the story of Shah Abd al Azeem Hasani (A), a prominent member of the Ahlulbayt. He was the son of Abdullah ibn Ali ibn Hasan ibn Zayd ibn Imam Hasan Mujtaba (A). The film is set in the third century Hijri, during the Kingship of Mutawakkil Abbasi, the tenth Abbasid King, and the imamate of Imam Ali Naqi (A).

This historical film portrays the life struggle of Imamzada Syed al Karim Shah Abd al Azeem Hasani (A), a significant figure in Shi'a Islamic history. Set during the 3rd century AH, the movie follows his journey as he escapes from the Abbasid Caliph AMutawakkil’s agents and travels to the city of Ray, encountering various challenges along the way. With captivating performances from renowned actors such as Dariush Arjmand and Jamshid Hashempour, this film offers an intriguing glimpse into a pivotal era of Islamic history.

Shah Abd al Azeem Hasani (A) had the opportunity to meet Imam Ridha (A) and Imam Jawad (A), and presented his beliefs to Imam Hadi (A), eventually passing away during the time of his imamate.
