Skirted Furniture Trend Meets the Contemporary Home

Can’t get enough of the skirted furniture trend in home decor? Cloth & Company is thrilled to introduce their Stoffer Home Collection, a fresh new line that marks a return to traditional styling for upholstered furniture.

This collection, designed in partnership with Jean Stoffer of Magnolia Network fame, blends a classic look with a fresh, contemporary twist. The result is a traditional-meets-modern home furnishings line featuring details like bullion fringe, and ruffled skirts, and slipcovers recalling the romance of past eras.

Bringing Back Traditional Details with a Modern Touch

Meganne Wecker, founder and CEO of Cloth & Company, shares the inspo behind this collection: “We were drawn to Jean Stoffer's family-owned business in the Midwest because of their design aesthetic and the joy they bring to their work. This partnership felt like a natural fit.”

The Stoffer Home Collection features 12 different furniture silhouettes and three signature prints designed exclusively by Cloth & Company, including a ticking stripe and a pattern inspired by Michigan's natural beauty with native birds, flora, and fauna. Custom orders can be placed for large pieces like beds, banquettes, and settees, along with smaller pieces such as swivel chairs, dining chairs, and ottomans.

Skirted upholstery is more popular than ever, and there is a growing demand for charming vintage decor. This collection brings back beloved bullion fringe, ruffled skirts, and pleated details, recalling a sense of nostalgia while maintaining a contemporary, updated look. “We’re seeing a renewed interest in traditional styling across all age groups,” says Wecker. “These classic details, like slipcovers and ruffled skirts, have a timeless appeal but are now being reimagined with modern fabrics and colors to attract a younger, trend-conscious audience.”

Customizable Comfort: Traditional Styling for Today's Lifestyles

Versatility is an important feature of the collection. Slipcovers for dining chairs, for example, offer both style and practicality, allowing homeowners to easily change their decor with the season or their mood.

The Stoffer Home Collection, available now at Stofferhome.com and Cloth & Company, is perfect for those who appreciate the charm of classic design with a modern twist. Explore this beautiful collection and bring the warmth and elegance of traditional styling back into your home.
