While in town to speak at the Chosen Women’s Conference, Pastor Carolyn Haas joined us in the studio to share about God's faithfulness throughout her life. Growing up in a family of faith, walking away from God, losing her father to suicide, and then returning to church after her boyfriend, Peter, had a life-changing encounter with God. Now, her husband, Peter, and Carolyn lead Substance Church in Minnesota, combining their strengths and weaknesses to complement a fruitful ministry.

We also talk to Carolyn about some common themes (and "debate-like" discussions) we've unpacked on the podcast including "The Billy Graham Rule," women in church leadership, and how much a Christian should be invested in spiritual warfare.

At the top of the episode, Roy Jacques, Tomelex Copeland, and Joey Svendsen talk to Lynne Stroy about her experiences at Chosen through the years, and they assess the fine line between harmless joking and disrespectful ridicule when it comes to the things of the spiritual.
