Growing your own plant starts can be kind of hard. Leggy seedlings, gnats, damping off, the list goes on...
Here are my tips:
First off, you can start seeds organically. I choose to use synthetic fertilizer because I get better results. More on this in the video...
Get the brightest lights you can find and use multiple lights for full coverage over your plants!
After fertilizing a few times, let your plants tell you when they're ready for more. Yellowing leaves will be the most obvious sign followed by stunted growth.
Stunted growth could also be a lack of light OR temperature related. Plants like warm temps so cold nights and temps in the 60s during the day aren't ideal...
DON'T over water. It's not bad to let your soil dry out slightly in between waterings. Just because the top looks dry doesn't mean it immediately needs water. Find the balance and don't overdue it...
