RAF Gatow, a former Cold War airbase outside Berlin, currently holds the German Air Force museum. We were lucky enough to visit during the Flugplatz Fest which included additional aircraft that civilian pilots had flown in to display. This airbase was located in the British sector and was crucial to the success of the Berlin Airlift.
