Ingredients:
Paaye: 1, thoroughly cleaned
Onion: 1 medium, chopped
Ghee: 250 gm
Tomatoes: 2, chopped
Ginger Garlic Paste: 2 tablespoons
Salt: 2 tablespoons
Chilli Flakes: 1/2 tablespoon
Red Chilli Powder: 1 1/2 tablespoons
Turmeric Powder: 1/2 tablespoon
Water: As needed
Fresh Coriander: For garnish
Garam Masala: For garnish
Green Chillies: For garnish
Method:
Thoroughly clean the paaye and cook it in a pressure cooker for 60 minutes until tender.
Heat 250 gm ghee in a pan and sauté the chopped onion until golden brown.
Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they soften.
Mix in the ginger garlic paste and cook for a few minutes.
Add salt, chilli flakes, red chilli powder, and turmeric powder. Sauté the spices until aromatic.
Add the cooked paaye to the pan and pour in a little water. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander, garam masala, and green chillies.
Serve hot and enjoy your delicious paaye!
