FYI, the button that absorbed the most coffee is no longer working unless I press the MAX defrost button but this may fix itself as the electrical contact cleaner evaporates. ECC should NOT short out your controls but if you have any reservations about it, disconnect the battery and cycle the engine start button to ensure all power has been drained out of the system.
