The 3.0L Duramax gets amazing fuel mileage compared to the other engine offerings in the GMC Yukon lineup. Our 2022 Yukon SLE 4X4 3.0L Duramax has reached an all time best fuel mileage of 37 mpg on our latest trip to Gatlinburg, TN. Even after climbing over a few mountains our final grand total once we pulled into the hotel was 35.5 mpg.

We truly believe GMC got this engine “right”. The 3.0L Duramax makes outstanding torque combined with great fuel mileage puts the Yukon SUV in its own class. Very soon we’ll be providing a 25k mile review so stay tuned for that.
