A short snippet of Peter Brock in the Perkins Engineering built and prepared Mobil VN Group A Commodore chasing Mark Gibbs in the Gibson Motorsport built Bob Forbes GIO R32 Skyline GT-R in the early stages of the Tooheys 1000 of 1991. It includes some fantastic in car footage from the VN (not previously posted online) courtesy of the fantastic 7 Sports coverage with its Racecam technology.

As history would show it was a dominant year for the R32 GT-R with the Skaife and Richards car taking pole and the race win and Marks Gibbs and Rohan Onslow taking 3rd albeit with a bad misfire in the closing stages of the race. Peter Brock and Andrew Miedecke would finish 7th after Allan Moffat's Cenovis Sierra was disqualified due to an illegal diff ratio and an electrical gremlin plagued them early on with Miedecke at the wheel which also saw them drop to as low as 35th place.
