Hello! We are continuing the 1943 Willys MB project, and this is the fourth in a seven part mini series that will focus on various welding, cutting, and metalworking needed for the project. This video will focus on repair of the driver side where the axe and shovel are mounted. This is an area prone to rust, and this has enough rust that parts will need to be cut out and replaced.

Based on the fact that it is not completely rusted out, I made the decision to install patch panels rather than fully replace them. This involved shaping one of the pieces to replicate a curve previously present within the panel, as well as a lot of cutting, welding, and grinding.
