Sometimes old game cartridges don’t work well! In some cases like with the original NES it might be a problem with the connection inside the game console, but if you’ve already fixed or replaced that and you still have problems with some games, try this!

The old Nintendo cartridges needed a special screw driver, the link for the one I purchased is below. Otherwise all you need is some 1500 grit sandpaper, some rubbing alcohol, and about 5 minutes of your time.
