In this sailing adventure, the journey begins before dawn as we depart San Juanico. Our original plan was to sail to Isla Coronados, but with the seas unusually smooth, we decided to push further to Isla Carmen’s Bahia Ballandra—a serene anchorage offering better protection from the approaching northern winds. However, upon arrival, we discovered the anchorage was crowded, forcing us to settle for a less-than-ideal spot. As the winds outside the anchorage picked up the wrap-around swell made for a miserable couple nights as we battled the roll. Despite the less than ideal conditions we still found an opportunity to dinghy to shore and take in this beautiful anchorage. @SanityatSea-Sailing
