TURN SUBTITLES ON!!!

In 1996, my fiancé (now wife) interviewed Paul Westerberg by phone for the local newspaper. We were both huge fans and still in college, and she was understandably excited/nervous to speak to someone that we both admired so much.

Westerberg discussed his new album 'Eventually' and talked about his differences with producer Brendan O'Brien, working with Tommy Stinson again, possible acting opportunities, and gave his opinion on the state of music at that time, as well as the influence of The Replacements.

As a huge fan of Paul myself, I couldn't just let the cassette tape rot away in a drawer, and so here is the full uncut interview. I bleeped out the pseudonym he used for the hotel just in case he still uses it. :-)
