Showers and storms from overnight will clear out as we get into the day. There might be a stray light shower otherwise expect mostly cloudy to cloudy skies and a much cooler day with highs near 80 degrees.

Rain and storms will build in again overnight and into Tuesday with a low-end risk that a few storms could be strong to severe with heavy downpours and gusty winds. We will take the rain but it will not put a big dent in the drought conditions across Central Ohio.

High temps Tuesday will reach the upper-70s, which is still seasonably warm for September, a relief from the heat last week! Right now the middle of the week looks drier with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the low 80s and overnight temperatures in the low 60s.

For the upcoming weekend, we are watching the potential for some tropical moisture to move into the Ohio valley from the Gulf of Mexico. This could bring some more rain on Saturday. However, the exact track of this low pressure system could still shift. We will be monitoring this as it develops throughout the week with new forecast data each day. Stay tuned!
