We set off from the Denver area for full-time RV life back in 2018 and have been back many times. Here's our list of the top Denver RV parks: Cherry Creek State Park, Chatfield State Park, Bear Creek Lake Park, and St Vrain State Park. Reservations can be pretty hard to get in this area at the last minute, so try to reserve as far in advance as you can! One last piece of advice that we didn't put in our campground review is that you will want to get a Colorado State Parks Pass if you plan to stay longer than just a few days. It just works out better than paying the daily rate for entrance fees. This isn't applicable at Bear Creek Lake Park since it's a city park.
